Data Deletion Instructions

You control your data in Poest. You can remove the access Poest has to a social media account, or delete your Poest account together with all data we store about you. Labels in the app are shown in Ukrainian; the original label is given in brackets.

1. Delete your whole Poest account

1. Sign in to Poest in the app or at https://poest.site/dashboard.
2. Open Profile (Профіль) → Security & account (Безпека й акаунт).
3. Tap Delete account (Видалити акаунт) and confirm with your password.

This immediately deletes your account, your projects, posts, schedules, templates, uploaded media, and the tokens of every connected social account. Remaining copies are removed from backups within 30 days. Posts that were already published on social networks stay there; delete them on the network itself if you want them gone.

2. Disconnect a single social account

1. Open Profile (Профіль) → Connected social networks (Підключення соцмереж).
2. Next to the account, tap Disconnect (Відключити) and confirm.

Poest deletes the access tokens and profile data of that account. Scheduled posts for it will no longer be published.

3. Remove Poest from Instagram, Threads or Facebook

You can also revoke access on Meta’s side:

• Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Poest → Remove.
• Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → Poest → Remove.
• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Poest → Remove.

Once access is revoked, the tokens Poest holds for that account stop working. To also remove the stored account data from Poest, disconnect it in the app (step 2) or write to us. Other networks (TikTok, LinkedIn, X) offer the same option in their security or connected-apps settings.

4. Ask us to delete your data

If you can no longer sign in, or you want us to delete specific data, email contact@moderncv.io with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address of your Poest account. Tell us whether you want the whole account deleted or only data for certain social accounts. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
